The Mountain to Fountain 15K & 5K is the premier road race in Fountain Hills, Arizona. The 15K run starts at beautiful McDowell Mountain Regional Park winding your way through stunning desert scenery before hitting the hills through the Town of Fountain Hills, finishing at iconic Fountain Park. Stick around for the post race party and famous win your weight in beer team competition. Teams of four or more will compete in categories.
Event Schedule
6:00 AM – Buses start shuttling runners to 15K start line (Pickup location 13215 N. Verde River Drive, Fountain Hills, AZ 85268)
7:15 AM – Last bus leaves for 15K star line
8:00 AM – 15K Race Start from Pemberton Trailhead in McDowell Mountain Regional Park
9:45 AM – 15K & 5K Awards Ceremony
10:00 AM – Team Awards
10:15 AM – Course closes to runners
10:30 AM – Beer Serving ends

We will host packet pickup at one or more Sole Sports locations Friday & Saturday leading into race day.
15K Team Competition
Enter a team of 4 or more and win one scoring runners weight in BEER!
All teams must have 4 or more registered and competing runners. At least 4 members must finish the 15K course within the 2 hour 15 minute time limit to be eligible. Female athletes may enter a male team, however, no males are allowed on a female team. One member of the scoring team is allowed on the “Beer Scale” to win that person’s weight in Beer.
Team categories:
- Open Male – Ages 12 & up, all males
- Open Female – Ages 12 & up, all females
- Masters Male – Ages 40 & up, all males
- Masters Female – Ages 40 & up, all females
- Mixed Open – Ages 12 & up, at least 2 males and 2 females (can only score fastest 2 males)
- Mixed Masters – Ages 12 & up, at least 2 males and 2 females (can only score fastest 2 males)
- Biggest team with most finishers
