The Mountain 2 Fountain 15K/5K is the premier race in Fountain Hills, Arizona. The 5K run/walk start at North east corner of Fountain Plaza and both course run around the entire park.  The 5K splits for a little bit to take you out for some city views and eventually you will finish in front of the Fountain Plaza.

Enter a team of 8 and win one scoring runners weight in BEER

5K Team Divisions

• Biggest Team – Team with most finishers

All teams must have 8 or more runners.  At least 8 members must finish the 5K course within the 2-hour time limit to be eligible. One member of the scoring team is allowed on our “Beer Scale” to win that person’s weight in Beer.

Runners will line up on N. Panorama Dr. about 100 yards from Saguaro Blvd. You will turn left on Saguaro Blvd going counter-clockwise around Fountain Park. You will pass the finish line then turn left on El Lago Blvd. Continue on El Lago Blvd and turn left on Panorama Dr. you will then turn right on Saguaro Blvd to Pepperton Cir. then turn around and head back to the finish line on Saguaro Blvd.

Awards will be given to the top 3 overall male and female as well in the following age groups.

14 and under
15 to 19
20 to 29
30 to 39
40 to 49
50 to 59
60 to 69
70 and Over

Top 3 overall male and female does not get an age group award.

• Can I pick up a race packet for a friend/family member if I go on Friday or Saturday?
  • Yes, but you need to have their printed confirmation email with barcode available.
• Is there gear check at the startling line?
  • No.
• Can I run with my dog?
  • As much we love our pets, for their safety and your safety dogs are not allowed on the 5K course.
• Can I run with a stroller?
  • Yes.
• Can I switch from the  15K to the 5K?
  • Yes, however there are no credits or refunds.
• Can I switch from the 5K to 15K?
  • Yes, but you would need to pay the price difference of the current registration price.
• Is there a time limit on the 5K?
  • Yes, runners must finish the course within the 2 hour time limit.
• I can’t run on race day, can I defer my entry for next years event?
  • The only way to defer your entry is by volunteering on race day.
